NOMINON To Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary With Hometown Gig

November 13, 2006

Swedish death metallers NOMINON have posted the following message on their official web site:

"NOMINON has decided to do ONE show at the end of the year after all. The band has been turning down quite a few gig-proposals during 2006 due to the fact that they wanted to focus on writing new material for the next full-length album. This special show will take place at the club Insikten in the band's hometown Jönköping, Sweden, on December 28th. This show will be a bit of a special show for NOMINON, as they are celebrating 10 years as a live act."

NOMINON recently announced the addition of bassist Anders Malmström (IMMEMOREAL, PROPHANITY) to the group's ranks. The band secured a deal with Singapore's Pulverised Records for the release of their collection of hard-to-get tracks, entitled "Remnants of a Diabolical History".

NOMINON's latest album, "Recremation", was issued last year via Konqueror Records (CD) and Blood Harvest Records (12-inch vinyl). The album was recorded and mixed at Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm with engineer Tore Stjerna. A video for the track "House of Flies" was shot during the band's European tour with VITAL REMAINS in September/October 2005.
